Great food and service. Coffee cake to die for. Only down side is the looong wait and that it is far from where I live. Despite all that, we drive to enjoy a delicious breakfast every time we can.

Always amazing: Staff is friendly, food is delicious! It feels like you are a regular, even if you aren't. The wait is never bad IF you check in online. I highly recommend you check in prior to going.

You can Get in Line on Yelp! Then check in when you get there. This is a must, as wait times can get long. Service is great and they seat you pretty quick. The food is AMAZING! They are famous for their Carolyn's Coffee cake, and you can order a whole sheet pan size to go. They have a ton of options for breakfast and lunch, super creative Benedict's too! The corned beef hash is Homemade and the potatoes are perfectly soft and crispy. Fries and ranch and a 10! French toast is delicious too. There's no wrong choice here. Definitely a classic restaurant that you've gotta try!

Excellent service be sure & use Yelp so you don't wait. Compliment manager always they are such a team. Help each other clear tables . Very relaxing & enjoyable.

When I think about a breakfast place, I think of Carolyn's. I take them over any IHOP/Dennys any day. It's so nice to see how far they've come. I remember when they use to be in a smaller location. I love that they expanded and still kept it here in Redlands. This is the place to be and is always busy. What I love is that they offer the Yelp Waitlist. That helps me tremendously as I have waited almost an hour for a table before during the early morning. The staff are so friendly and attentive. I love everyone I come in contact with here. But what keeps me coming back--coffee cake. It's simply the best. Nice cinnamony flavor, beautiful layers, moist, warm and extra delicious with a scoop of velvety butter that just melts beautifully as it's being handed to you. If you're lucky, you'll get a corner piece and that just makes my day! I have tried different items from the menu but I notice myself going back mainly for the chicken fried steak and chilaquiles. The beans that comes with the chilaquiles are delicious! Next time you're thinking of a place for breakfast, have this place at the top of the list. You won't regret it.

Great breakfast/brunch spot with an old diner feel to it. Came here on a Tuesday morning and it was fairly packed so expect some sort of wait time if you're with a group. Yes, definitely get their coffee cake. By far the best coffee cake I've ever had! Comes with a big ball of butter on top of it for that extra richness! I also got their breakfast taco which was also great. Plenty of protein and cheese with toppings on the side. The staff was attentive and very friendly. Definitely recommend Carolyn's Cafe if you're staying in Redlands!
